Knowing that cities choose the wood used for your special projects to make a difference in their finish and appeal. For DIY Woodworking – forests and villages, in full consideration should be given to the type of wood used. Do not expect to look like oak or pine nut.

Ash
Take all the good points Ash, but requires a heavy filler for all levels of finish. All closedusually dull-polished or have been.
Birch

Cherry

Mahogany
True mahogany mahogany only be completed in various shades of red or brown. Avoid using dark stains on mahogany. Mahogany bleach well. All mahogany whiskers tend to be under water color and the finish is the bestNon-grain raising stains.
Maple
Maple does not need filling. Selected white wood may be used for modern tone blond, with or without spots. If you're brown and red colors used for double staining technique. Does not respond well to bleach.
Oak

Pine
